Isn’t it a great visual representation of Swathi Thirunaal Padam: Anandavalli

A young group of people from Kerala have come up with a visual treat recently; Anadavalli. Anandavalli is a visual recreation of Sri Swathi Thirunaal Padam composed in Neelambari Raga. Living in the simplest lifestyles, a middle-aged man happens to hear a Padam from his old radio. The whole plot tells how a common man could stumble on such a great Carnatic composition and how he gets drowned in the beauty of the raga. This also tells even without a slight knowledge or training, the great composition is always accepted and has a soothing effect to it.

The video has been highly discussed among art lovers and showcased at various festivals. Read more about Anandavalli in Malayalam: Anandavalli - A visual treat (In Manoramaonline), Anandavalli (Malayalam review in Mathubhumi)
